When I arrived home yesterday, a package was waiting for me....
The return address was a dead give-away, but I've been waiting for this special delivery.
This special group of ladies have a home-base in Vancouver, BC, with social clubs across Bellingham, Seattle, and Vancouver. I won't be able to take advantage of these social rides and will stick with my home-based Calgary club for social rides this year.
BUT! (and here's the exciting part)
The Muddbunnies also has a race team with riders from across Canada and the US. There are 29 Bunnies for 2015, all with different levels of riding and different goals for the season.
My big goal this year is BC Bike Race, so I wanted a team familiar with the terrain, familiar with the event, encouraging, community-focused, and fun. I've already been blown away by their offers of support, insider knowledge, trail knowledge, and outgoing nature. Thanks for making me feel so welcome!
